Consider Giving Blood in the New Year

As a reminder, please take a few minutes to read the email below from a wonderful CHMS student who is working on an amazing service project idea. – Dr. Levi Brown
*************************************************
My name is Laith Khartabil and I am an 8th grade student at Clarendon Hills Middle School. I would like to organize a Blood Drive at Clarendon Hills Middle School. I have already contacted Red Cross about my plan and received permission from my principal Dr. Brown. For this effort to be successful, the Red Cross requires the commitment of at least 40 blood donors and a few volunteers. If you are interested in participating in this noble cause to help save lives, we have two options for you.
  • If you would like to potentially participate as a blood donor please click here.
  • If you would like to participate as a blood drive volunteer please click here.

Please come participate and feel free to invite friends, relatives, neighbors, and any other people for this noble cause. Just remember that a little kind act can go a long way! We don’t have the specific date yet (but anticipating in April), we are just looking for interested individuals. If you need more information, contact Dr. Brown at lbrown@d181.org .

Thank you for your kind support!
