Why We Fundraise
We fundraise to improve the day-to-day experience of our students. We do this in both big ways and small including: purchasing new furniture for the MRC, installing permanent locker shelves, providing stand up desks, 3D printers, and much more. In addition to these large strategically planned items, the PTO provides an annual stipend to every teacher in the building. This stipend can be used at the teacher’s discretion to purchase supplies for their classroom that are not covered by District 181 funds. Finally, our PTO offers financial support to extra curricular clubs, activities, and athletics. For example we help to subsidize the transportation to/from the school’s volunteer opportunities at the Ronald McDonald House and we provide funds to cover the cost of the school musical.
