Clarendon Hills Middle School (CHMS) is located 20 miles west of Chicago, IL. It is one of 5 public middle schools that feed into Hinsdale Central High school.

Approximately 637 students are enrolled in CHMS for the 2012-2013 school year, and the school is ranked in the top 2% of middle schools in Illinois.

CHMS was recently ranked by the Chicago Tribune as the 14th best middle school in the state (based on ISAT scores). More than 96% of the students’ test scores were categorized as meeting or exceeding the Illinois Learning Standards.

CHMS is the recipient of the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award from the U. S. Dept. of Education.
