Service Opportunity: Feeding Children Worldwide Returns to CHMS

The Clarendon Hills Middle School community will be hosting their fifth annual food packing event on Thursday, April 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Feeding Children Worldwide (FCW), a non-for profit organization that provides humanitarian aid to the children within the U.S. and around the world. During this service project, staff, students and family members of all ages will help prepare and package meals to support hungry children. The cost for participation is a $15 donation per individual or $50 per family of three or more. This entire donation goes directly to FCW to cover all costs associated with preparing and shipping the meals to areas around the world with children in need. For more information about FCW, go to:  www.feedingchildrenworldwide.com.  For questions, contact Amy McCurry @ amyantrimmccurry@icloud.com.

In the past we have reached our goal of preparing 10,000 meals and plan to meet or exceed that goal again. Additionally, we are excited to provide an experience where many members of our special community can roll up their sleeves and participate together in a wonderful cause and make a difference in the bigger world.

Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information about how to sign up!
