Seventh grade students have a wonderful opportunity for interactive learning and team building on a field trip to Irons Oaks at the end of the month. Students will participate in the Teams Challenge Course (not the High Ropes Course, Climbing Tower, or Power Pole). Students were given their group information on Tuesday, Oct. 9 in Advisory. Students will either be going Thursday, Oct. 25 or Friday, Oct. 26. If your child is uncertain about when he/she is going, please contact his/her Advisor.
Students must have a signed waiver to participate at Irons Oaks. Advisory teachers passed these out on Wednesday, Oct. 3. For your convenience, you can click here to access a copy of the waiver. Please have your child return the signed waiver to his/her Advisor as soon as possible.
Seventh graders will attend the outdoor Irons Oaks field trip despite any unfavorable weather conditions. We highly recommend that your child comes to school dressed in layers. We spend the entire day outside engaging in team-building activities. Students who are under-dressed will be cold throughout the day. Students are reminded to bring a sack lunch, and no peanuts/tree nuts can be packed in field trip lunches. Please make sure that all items packed in the lunch are disposable.
